A born and raised Madisonian and having trained at Capitol Physical Therapy, I am excited to return to Wisconsin after a few years in Pomona, California. I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. I enjoy caring for people of all ages and backgrounds with orthopedic conditions, with a particular enthusiasm for treating spinal pathologies. I believe in an eclectic approach to rehabilitation and uses hands-on techniques to help my patients recover their health and well-being. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy the Wisconsin life – cheering on the Badgers and Packers, cooking tasty food, and spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and going to the park with my dog, Theo. I am also an active volunteer, having worked extensively with the Special Olympics, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the House of Ruth, an organization assisting families victimized by domestic abuse. I look forward to supporting these and other organizations in the communities we serve.
Interested in a career in which you can help people take their first steps after surgery? Or a career where you can help rehabilitate an athlete following ACL rupture? Dr. Tyler Harrington got his first experience with physical therapy when he was just in high school, and from that moment on he knew that helping others move better is his greatest passion. He will be discussing his journey to becoming a Physical Therapist and how it has led to him becoming a director at a private practice physical therapy clinic here in Dane County, in addition to the variety of specialties and areas of physical therapy practices available for practice.
