Neil Stechschulte is the Director of Economic Development for the City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Prior to working for the City of Sun Prairie, Neil has worked as a Planner for MSA Professional Services (7 years), the Blackhawk Hills Economic Development District (2+ years), the Village of Skokie, Illinois (2+ years), and Rochelle Municipal Utilities (seasonally 6+ years). He also currently serves as Chairperson of the East Dane County YMCA Advisory Board, and is a member of the Dane County CDBG Commission and the Sun Prairie Arts Alliance Board of Directors. He was a 2014 recipient of the “Service Above Self Award” from the Sun Prairie Rotary Club. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University. He and his wife have lived in Sun Prairie since 2002.
