Amanda Kita-Yarbro holds a B.S. in Medical Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Wisconsin and a Master Public Health in Hospital & Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Michigan. Amanda had an internship with the Michigan Department of Community Health HIV/AIDS Surveillance Section and has worked as an epidemiologist for Public Health – Madison & Dane County since 2001. At Public Health, Amanda works primarily in communicable disease epidemiology, including disease surveillance and control, outbreak investigation, and emergency response planning.
