Ron Giordan spent 17 years in broadcast newsrooms, both radio and television, working to keep people informed about their communities as quickly as possible. He realized in 2006 the best way to do that was through social media and so he began working with the quickly evolving social media platforms that started cropping up. Now, it’s easy to look back at his journalism experience and see that he was marketing a brand for every TV and radio station he worked for. Today he uses that experience to help companies manage their brands in the online world. Ron is at his best in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented world. Social Media Marketing changes quickly and you need to be ahead of the game, ready to pivot, to make sure your brand doesn’t get lost among the masses. Keeping your brand on the minds of the people in your community is the end goal. When not “wasting” time on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Wordpress, Reddit, Foursquare, etc., Ron helps run a non-profit respite care center for special needs children, “Gio’s Garden”. He is lucky to have a wonderful wife and two fantastic boys, Giovanni and Benicio. They also have a cat, Chairman Meow…and she runs the house.

What do people use the internet for? Just about everything. But, there has to be people to create the information that is being put out there to be consumed. This is content. Ron Giordan always wanted to be a writer/journalist. After realizing that what he was really doing was creating content for people to consume, he switched gears and now creates content for websites and social media for businesses across the country.
