Despite generally being one of the more well-known college majors, there are plenty of misconceptions about the specifics of earning a business degree. Salary outcomes, employment prospects and/or working for a really great company are definitely considerations in why students choose to pursue a business degree. However, focusing too heavily on these can and often does distract students from the career research and professional/personal exploration needed to be a successful business student and professional.
