As the Senior Outreach Specialist at the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research, Debra Wendorf Boyke manages industry relations activities, plans technical events, coordinates communication work projects and company trainings, plus she oversees the overall CDR communication outreach efforts. Her background includes more than 30 years of industry experience in the dairy and agriculture industries with a degree in Dairy Science with an emphasis in Agricultural Journalism. She also currently serves as the Executive Director for the U.S. National Committee to the International Dairy Federation. The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) is the premier dairy research center. Located within a licensed, operating dairy plant on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, CDR builds on Wisconsin's tradition as the "Dairy State." More than 30 researchers and scientists are involved in conducting basic and applied dairy research that explores the functional, flavor and physical properties of cheese/cheese products and other milk components used as ingredients and as finished products.
