For as long as Phong Yang can remember, he’s always imagined himself working with animals. He chose to go to school to become a Veterinary Technician because he knew it would be a professionally rewarding career. Phong has experience working in the clinic setting as well as in emergency and critical care of animals. Currently he is involved with working in laboratory animal medicine in his role as a Certified Veterinary Technician with the Research Animal Resources Center for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Animal rescue is also something that Phong likes to get involved in and volunteers his time doing whenever possible.
