Laura Stuntebeck has been a professional medical Spanish interpreter in the Madison area for nearly 8 years. A University of Wisconsin –Madison graduate with a B.A. in Spanish and Certificate in Business, Laura spent her junior year studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. That year of intense language immersion ignited her passion for travel, the Spanish language and learning about new cultures. After graduation, Laura worked as a staff interpreter at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison for 5 years before embarking on an unforgettable 8 month backpacking trip through Central and South America. She then returned to Madison to work at Dean Clinic, where she is currently Lead Interpreter. The best part of interpreting for Laura is making a difference in the lives of others and the variety in her days.
