Justin Cruz is a native of Madison, Wis. He graduated from UW-Madison with degrees in mathematics and Spanish. He also earned his master's degree in mathematics from UW-Milwaukee, as well as Fellowship accreditation from the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) - the professional organization for actuaries. Justin has been with American Family since 2001 as an actuary and in various management roles, and was named Actuarial Vice President in 2008. As Actuarial VP, he directs the development and maintenance of the rates for the company’s property and casualty lines of business. Prior to working for American Family he taught high school math in Milwaukee Public Schools.
